Delete Your Wayvora Account

Last updated: September 1, 2026

This page explains how to delete your account in Wayvora, the run and walk tracker with game modes developed by FrostWeb Studios, and what happens to your data when you do. It applies only to the Wayvora app. A Wayvora account is the Google sign-in you use in the app; it is separate from any FrostWeb Identity account you may have on our website.

1. Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest way. Deletion takes effect immediately.

  1. Open Wayvora and tap the gear icon on the Home screen to open Settings.
  2. In the Account card, tap Delete account.
  3. Read the summary of what will be removed and tap Delete to confirm.

The app removes your cloud data, revokes your sign-in, clears the run history stored on the device, and returns to the welcome screen. If it has been a while since you last signed in, the app may ask you to sign in with Google once more before deleting. This is a security check required by our sign-in provider, not a new sign-up.

Deleting your Wayvora account does not delete or change your Google account.

2. Request deletion without the app

If you have already uninstalled Wayvora, or you cannot sign in, you can ask us to delete your account by email:

  • To: [email protected]
  • Subject: Wayvora account deletion
  • Send it from the Google account email address you used to sign in to Wayvora. We use the sending address to verify that the request comes from the account holder. Requests sent from a different address will need additional verification before we can act on them.
  • Optional: include your Wayvora friend code (shown on the Friends screen). It helps us locate the account quickly, but it is not required.

We confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days of verifying the request, and usually within a few days.

3. What is deleted

Both deletion methods remove the same data:

  • Your sign-in. The link between your Google account and Wayvora is removed from our authentication provider, including the name and email address it held.
  • Your profile. Display name, join date, friend code, and equipped cosmetics.
  • Every recorded run and walk, including GPS routes, distance, time, per-kilometer splits, scenario, difficulty, and outcome.
  • Progress and rewards. Points, XP and level, achievements, streaks, and shop purchases. Purchases are made with in-game points only; no real money is involved, so there is nothing to refund.
  • Friends. Your friends list is deleted, you are removed from other players’ friends lists, and your name no longer appears on their leaderboards.
  • Shared ghosts. Any run you shared as a ghost is deleted and its share code stops working for everyone who has it.
  • Leaderboard entries. Your entries on the daily challenge leaderboards are removed.
  • Data on your device. When you delete from inside the app, the run history, preferences, and any saved crash report on that device are cleared as well.

Please note that signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete your cloud data. Your runs and progress stay available so you can sign back in later. Use one of the two methods above when you want them gone.

4. What is kept, and for how long

  • Crash reports. If the app crashed, a crash report was sent to Firebase Crashlytics. These reports contain the device model, operating system version, app version, and a random installation identifier. They are not linked to your account and cannot be matched back to you after deletion. Crashlytics deletes them automatically after 90 days.
  • Email correspondence. If you contacted us, for example to request deletion or to send feedback from the app, we keep that email only as long as needed to handle the request and keep a record that it was completed.
  • Service backups. Google, which hosts Wayvora’s database, may hold deleted records in encrypted service backups for a limited period before they are purged, in line with Google’s data deletion practices. They are not accessible to us or to other users during that time.

Nothing else is retained. We do not keep an anonymized or aggregated copy of your runs or routes.

5. Deleting some data without closing your account

Wayvora does not yet let you delete individual runs from inside the app. If you would like specific runs, a shared ghost, or a leaderboard entry removed while keeping your account, email [email protected] from your sign-in address and tell us what to remove. We handle these requests on the same 30-day timeline.
