Meet the FrostWeb App — and a Safer FrostWeb Account

The FrostWeb app for Android is out now: your companion for everything FrostWeb, plus a new, easier way to keep your account safe.

Your FrostWeb account, in your pocket

  • News — announcements, dev diaries and patch notes from the studio.
  • Friends — your friends list, favourites and requests, and adding friends by their FrostWeb ID (like Name#1234).
  • Games and Shop — browse our games, see your library, and explore editions and add-ons.
  • Authenticator — approve your own sign-ins with a tap.

Chat is on its way in a future update.

Approve sign-ins from your phone

Two-step verification no longer has to mean typing a code.

  1. Sign in as usual — on the web, in FrostLauncher, or in one of our games.
  2. Your phone asks "Is this you signing in?", showing roughly where and on what device.
  3. Tap the number that matches the one on your sign-in screen. Your phone asks for your fingerprint or screen lock first, so only you can approve.
  4. You're in.

Not you? Tap Deny — the sign-in is blocked straight away, and you can report it.

Why the number? It makes sure you're approving your sign-in and not one someone else started at the same moment. If the numbers don't match, the sign-in is blocked.

Prefer codes? Your existing authenticator codes still work exactly as before.

Signing in on FrostLauncher or a console? Use Enter code manually in the app to approve with the code shown on screen.

How to set it up

  1. Install the FrostWeb app and sign in.
  2. Open Settings → Security → Authenticator.
  3. Enter a current code from the authenticator app you already use for FrostWeb, and tap Add this phone.
  4. Allow notifications so sign-in requests can reach you.

Two-step verification must be on for your account first — turn it on at identity.frostweb.studio under Security.

See and manage your phones

Your account's Security page now lists every phone that can approve your sign-ins — when it was added, when it was last used, and whether notifications are on. Lost or replaced a phone? Remove it in one click.

For your safety, signing out everywhere or resetting your password also removes your approved phones. You can add them again any time.

More account improvements

  • FrostWeb ID — your Name#1234 is now called your FrostWeb ID everywhere.
  • Email preferences — turn news and offers on or off any time under Account Details.
  • Deleting your account — if you ask us to delete your account, you now have 30 days to change your mind. Just sign in to cancel.
  • Clearer policies — our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and Cookie Policy are rewritten in plain language, and there's a new Refund Policy.
