Delete Your Account in Our Mobile Apps

Last updated: September 28, 2026

This page explains how to delete your account in the mobile apps developed by FrostWeb Studios, and what happens to your data when you do. It applies to Devourling (the idle grower), Offling (the flock that grows while your phone is down) and Wayvora (the run and walk tracker with game modes). In each app, your account is the Google sign-in you use inside it; it is separate from any FrostWeb Identity account you may have on our website, and deleting it does not delete or change your Google account. Each app has its own account: deleting one does not touch the others.

1. Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest way. Deletion takes effect immediately.

Devourling

  1. Open Devourling and tap Settings on the button rail along the bottom.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Read the summary of what will be removed and tap Delete everything to confirm.

The app removes your cloud save, revokes your sign-in, clears the save on the phone, and starts over as a guest.

Offling

  1. Open Offling and open Settings.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Read the summary of what will be removed and confirm.

The app marks your cloud save as deleted, revokes your sign-in, clears your flock and progress on the phone, and returns to a fresh start.

Wayvora

  1. Open Wayvora and tap the gear icon on the Home screen to open Settings.
  2. In the Account card, tap Delete account.
  3. Read the summary of what will be removed and tap Delete to confirm.

The app removes your cloud data, revokes your sign-in, clears the run history stored on the device, and returns to the welcome screen.

In every app, if it has been a while since you last signed in, the app may ask you to sign in with Google once more before deleting. This is a security check required by our sign-in provider, not a new sign-up.

2. Request deletion without the app

If you have already uninstalled the app, or you cannot sign in, you can ask us to delete your account by email:

  • To: [email protected]
  • Subject: the app’s name and “account deletion”, for example “Devourling account deletion”
  • Send it from the Google account email address you used to sign in to the app. We use the sending address to verify that the request comes from the account holder. Requests sent from a different address will need additional verification before we can act on them.
  • Optional: for Wayvora, include your friend code (shown on the Friends screen). It helps us locate the account quickly, but it is not required.

We confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days of verifying the request, and usually within a few days.

3. What is deleted, app by app

Both deletion methods remove the same data. In every app, your sign-in goes first: the link between your Google account and the app is removed from our authentication provider, including the name and email address it held. Then:

Devourling

  • Your cloud save: your well’s mass, Dust, Photons, upgrade levels, research, skins, and any records kept from earlier versions of the game.
  • Data on your device: when you delete from inside the app, the save on that phone is cleared as well.

Offling

  • Your cloud save (your flock, berries, trinkets, journal, den, and the list of recent absences) is cut off from any sign-in and flagged as deleted, so nothing can read or advance it. Because our servers only ever let a save grow, the flagged copy is kept on file rather than erased on the spot; see section 4 for how to have it removed at once.
  • Data on your device: when you delete from inside the app, the flock and progress on that phone are cleared as well.

Wayvora

  • Your profile. Display name, join date, friend code, and equipped cosmetics.
  • Every recorded run and walk, including GPS routes, distance, time, per-kilometer splits, scenario, difficulty, and outcome.
  • Progress and rewards. Points, XP and level, achievements, streaks, and shop purchases. Purchases are made with in-game points only; no real money is involved, so there is nothing to refund.
  • Friends. Your friends list is deleted, you are removed from other players’ friends lists, and your name no longer appears on their leaderboards.
  • Shared ghosts. Any run you shared as a ghost is deleted and its share code stops working for everyone who has it.
  • Leaderboard entries. Your entries on the daily challenge leaderboards are removed.
  • Data on your device. When you delete from inside the app, the run history, preferences, and any saved crash report on that device are cleared as well.

Please note that signing out or uninstalling an app does not delete your cloud data. Your progress stays available so you can sign back in later. Use one of the two methods above when you want it gone.

4. What is kept, and for how long

  • Crash reports. If an app crashed, a crash report was sent to Firebase Crashlytics. These reports contain the device model, operating system version, app version, and a random installation identifier. They are not linked to your account and cannot be matched back to you after deletion. Crashlytics deletes them automatically after 90 days.
  • Usage analytics. The apps send Firebase Analytics events about what happens in the game (an upgrade bought, a phase reached, a run finished). They are aggregated, carry no name or email, and cannot be matched back to you after deletion.
  • Purchase records (Devourling). If you bought something in Devourling, we keep the record of that purchase: the product, the Google Play order id, the purchase time, and the internal id of the account it was granted to. We keep it because it is what proves the purchase was granted once and only once, and because we are required to keep records of sales. After deletion it is no longer linked to a name or email address.
  • Flagged saves (Offling). The flagged copy of an Offling save described in section 3 stays on file until we clear it, which we do by hand in periodic clean-ups. If you would like it removed immediately, say so in an email to [email protected] from your sign-in address and we will erase it within the same 30-day timeline, usually much sooner.
  • Email correspondence. If you contacted us, for example to request deletion or to send feedback from an app, we keep that email only as long as needed to handle the request and keep a record that it was completed.
  • Service backups. Google, which hosts our apps’ databases, may hold deleted records in encrypted service backups for a limited period before they are purged, in line with Google’s data deletion practices. They are not accessible to us or to other users during that time.

Nothing else is retained. We do not keep an anonymized or aggregated copy of your saves, runs or routes.

5. Deleting some data without closing your account

The apps do not yet let you delete individual pieces of data from inside them. If you would like specific runs, a shared ghost, a leaderboard entry, or part of a save removed while keeping your account, email [email protected] from your sign-in address, name the app, and tell us what to remove. We handle these requests on the same 30-day timeline.
